With the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) having recently published updated guidance on their expectations regarding compliance with SIS Regulation 4.09, we have made a small, but important additional feature for users in preparing an SMSF investment strategy report on the Smarter SMSF platform.
From this ATO guidance, we have added two additional features now allowing you to select how the fund is to show asset ranges within the report as either:
- percentage (%) asset ranges
- dollar amount ($) asset ranges
In addition, you have the ability to not choose an asset range, but rather list material assets of the fund, along with providing explanation on how these investments will help to reach the retirement goals of fund members.
You can order an investment strategy within the Smarter platform using our integration with Class and Simple Fund 360. In addition, you can order the investment strategy within Simple Fund 360, allowing you to automatically populate the fund information, saving you time in the process.
