We’re making some changes to our PAYG document fees from 1 July 2023. We believe in transparency, so we want to let you know what’s changing and why it’s happening.
Why is this happening?
As part of our mission to help professionals cost-effectively deal with the complexities of SMSFs, we continue to add documents and features to the Smarter SMSF platform to enable you to focus on what you do best. In fact, over the past 12 months, we have:
- added new integrations, including SuperMate, and the ABN/TFN integration, and improved existing integrations (e.g. BGL integration with pension docs)
- added over 10 new documents to the platform (e.g. changes to directors, investment strategy review (incl. asset concentration), etc.)
- updated documents to comply with changes to the law (e.g. downsizer contributions),
- enhanced a number of existing documents to provide more options (e.g. pension commencement to start with an unknown balance, QROPS, change of trustee).
The fee increases for these documents are a result of the costs of running Smarter SMSF have increased as well. To keep up with the ever-changing super and tax landscape, we need to continue to build new features, resources, documents and ultimately products to better serve you.
What document prices are changing?
The table below outlines the list of currently available documents and the price change from 1 July 2023:

All other available documents will remain at their currently listed price. For BGL users, you should refer to the BGL document platform for the price changes of these documents from 1 July 2023.
Please note that Smarter SMSF reserves the right to change pricing of any document or subscription on their platform at any time.
Time to consider a subscription?
Whilst for many professionals the cost of the document production is disbursed, for those that produce regular SMSF documents, it may be a prudent to consider locking in your costs through one of Smarter SMSF’s flexible document subscriptions.
