|A special purpose company (proprietary)*||$53||$54|
10 years paid upfront
An option available with the ASIC annual review fees is to pay these upfront for a period of 10 years. For a SMSF, this provides an opportunity to save significantly on the annual fee that is attributable to a special purpose company that acts solely as trustee of the fund.
From 1 July 2019, the 10 year review fee increases to $375 (up from $370), providing a saving of more than 30%, based upon the current annual fee of $54. With CPI increases in the annual fee each year, this discount will amount to much more than that in 10 years time!
You can review ASIC’s Information Sheet 30 to find out more about all of the fee changes from 1 July 2019.
